I am sure this will help our children to realize, understand & explore their talents. In order to do this, the parents and the College authorities must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. “Sound body has a Sound Mind.” Let us allow our children to develop physically & mentally. Student learn alot of values when they are involved in Sports & Games. Some of these life skills & values cannot be taught in the classroom or at home. DPSI provides enough opportunities for the children to participate in Sports & games.

This College is worth applying because the faculty really puts a lot of effort into students. When a student has a problem, the teacher would walk to their desk and help the student. In addition, the tutoring department also helps a lot if students have any questions after class or if they have problems with their homework. Attending this college can also improve your English. The history of this college would perhaps remain incomplete without the mention of Dr Lalji Tripathi (M.A. Ancient History, L.L.B., Ph.D., D.Litt.), who had been the principal of this college for more than twenty years. His office of more than two decades gave him ample opportunity to impart growth and excellence to this institute. It was due to his efforts that the college became a post-graduate college. It was he who made it a multi-discipline college through the introduction of B.Sc., B.Com., BTC (now D.El.Ed), and B.Lib.I.Sc.,. Besides, Education and Sociology were added as the subjects in Arts stream. Dr Tripathi is a dynamic person. He added both area and dimension to the college. Even after his retirement he is our guardian. His advice is precious to us.

Shri Apurva Tiwari, famous among the masses as ‘Pawanji’ took the reins of the college management after the demise of his father Pt. Kaushal Pati Tiwari. An alumnus of this college, he has a Master’s degree both in Philosophy and in Psychology. He is young, energetic and practical in his approach. He is always in search of talented people and supports creativity wholeheartedly. Our manager has a holistic approach to education. He takes care to ensure that extracurricular activities involving the all round development of students are not ignored amid the busy academic schedule of a multi-faculty institute. He has keen interest in the workings of the institute and always ready to take and support an initiative.

Dr.Suresh Kumar Singh
Dr Leena Tiwari, the wife of our manager Shri Apurva Tiwari is a Member of Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. An alumnus of this college, she has Master’s degree in Political Science and in Ancient History. Besides, she has B.Ed and Ph.D. Revered greatly as Leena Madam by our students, she pays special attention to the difficulties of students especially the girls. Despite her busy socio-political schedule of public meetings, she tries her best to spare time for a function or activity organized in the college.
